wow Jenna. This is so cool to look at. You have so many recipes on your blog!!! And they’re all such high quality! And the pictures are all amazing. Kiddo, you’re a pro.
Mmmm, so when can I con/harass/blackmail you into contributing, eh? =) You’re quite the cookerina yourself.
Can I ask how you made such a lovely set up with your thumbnails of posts? I tried to do this once but it didn’t come out so nicely. Either (a) i’m not patient/savvy enough or (b) there’s a magic trick! (Response (b) I hope!)
Yes! I insert the image in thumbnail size, type the title (and link it), and then resize the thumbnail (down to 90% works for me) until when you press the ‘enter’ key and go 1 line down, you’re all the way at the left margin (instead of indented). Hope that makes sense!
Definitely makes sense. I guess it was (a) after all. As I’d figured. 😉 Thanks–maybe I’ll try again when ambitious. It does look great!
Thanks Sara! I like looking at it and pondering what I’ve eaten for the last year or so.
omgoodness I just had this amazing idea!! I’ve been dying to learn how to cook for months now and I looked through all your recipes but I would have no idea how to make anything on my own. we should make something together!!!
Ooooh, that would be super fun! We should totally do that! Maybe we could get together over a weekend and a make a treat for the coffee table on Sunday or something. Are you more interested in cooking or baking? Let me know your ideas and what would inspire you . . .
Jenna, I’ve had two people now ask me for your recipes that I’ve made. Heading over to your blog to attach a link is practically becoming a weekly thing! Keep up the great recipes — it still surprises me that I’m able to get so many allergen free recipes from a blog that isn’t specifically for allergen free recipes. It’s because you use real food and not that packaged crapola! Maybe someday I can try your other recipes, like Pots de Creme or Brown Butter Chocolate Chip cookies… mmm!
Thanks Krista!! I definitely need to get back to posting some recipes soon (and cooking new things–cooking has been at an all-time low in our household recently). I’m so glad that you’re able to find allergen-free recipes here–I don’t think that way when I’m making them, but I definitely agree that packaged stuff is frequently = crap, and LOVE cooking with fresh stuff. What allergies does your family have specifically?
I just came across your blog, and I gotta say this is one of the best food blogs I have ever stumbled upon. I hope these words of encouragement motivate you to continue your writing! Greetings from Canada! 🙂
Aw, thanks George! It’s actually been a number of weeks since I’ve posted a recipe (I’ve been obsessed with pregnancy updates, heh heh), but I have a few recipes I’ll be posting soon that I’m really excited about. =)
