*Update: you may have noticed already . . . but the voting poll on the Marx Foods site isn’t working. The web developer at Marx Foods is out sick, so the problem will be fixed later this week. I’ll post an update here as soon as it’s up and running again.
So last week I blogged about the first recipe challenge I have participated in. Apparently they happen quite frequently in this ole blogging world–who knew? Anyway, my creation was the Seared Fennel Salmon dish that some of you have already made and liked!
If you are in the mood, you can vote among the 10 recipes submitted over yonder at the Marx Foods Blog. I’m not going to say ‘vote for mine’ because maybe there may be a worthier recipe that makes you salivate even more–and in that case, y’all should follow your conscience. I mean seriously, the line up includes things like Vanilla Spiced Butternut Squash Ice Cream–heck yes! If you’re in the mood to get hungry, just follow the links and look at all the different things that these marvelous blogging people did with winter squash and at least 2 of the 8 mystery ingredients sent to us. I can’t shake the desire to eat a pumpkin wonton after reading one of the recipes. It’s causing . . . problems. Of the growling stomach variety.
So if you’re in the mood, you have a minute to spare, and you’re in the mood, and you have a minute to spare, and you’re in the mood–then and only then can you submit your vote.
But only if you’re in the mood!
See, when bloggers tell me to go vote for something, my response is usually “aaawwww, do I haaaaaave to?” so there is no judgment coming from my direction. Only love. Pure, joyous, unbiased love. And coffee breath–that’s also coming from my direction. Maybe I can solve that problem by eating a chocolate chip cookie.
