Two great games from the archives

I’ll be back next week . . . but in the meantime, I wanted to point your attention in the direction of two great group games.

1) I posted about the fabulous game of Dominion exactly one year ago, when we had arrived home from our Family Vacay 2010.

When we played it with Steve and Steph last Christmas, I think Steve won every single time. Ugh. He kept using that dang “Garden” card, the imp. I have plans to take him down during Family Vacay 2012–that gives me a year to buff up my skills.

2) Chinese Telegraph was our big game at New Years back in January, and if you haven’t played it, you must find an occasion!

It’s rollicking.

And I have a third recommendation . . . but it’s a freebie.

Because I don’t know how many of you have access to a big mud-filled pen in which to pig wrestle. But if you can locate one, this ‘game’ is wildly . . . well, wildly . . . hmmmm . . . you know, “fun” isn’t exactly the word that comes to mind.

Though you may have fun reading the blog post that I wrote about it. Anyway.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Career change?

I am Automated Jenna. I have realized that once Real Jenna returns from Alaska, I will be out of a job. “Kicked to the curb,” as I believe you humans say. “Out in the cold,” “left to die” and “given the boot” are other synonymous expressions.

A career change is in order. Resumes must go out. Connections must be greased. Networks must be networked.

Please to advise:

Ballerina?

Wearing a tutu is great fun, but the rod-like quality of my “arms” may eventually undermine success.

. . . bleep bleep bleep . . . processing new idea . . .

Perhaps Swordfish-Wielding Security Detail is more in line with current capabilities. With a toupée for the “Feminine Touch.”

Hairstyle options are limited when your head is a helmet.
